Exciting News: We have secured a home!

Updated: Dec 3, 2025

We are thrilled to announce a major milestone: we have secured a multi-family home in River Falls that will serve as our very first residence. This achievement marks a new chapter for our community and mission, and we are eager to welcome our first residents by January 1st. While this goal is ambitious, we are energized by the possibilities ahead and grateful for the support that has brought us this far.

Finding the Right Home for Our Community

After an extensive search, we found a multi-family home that fits our needs perfectly. The house offers multiple living units, shared common spaces, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. This setup will allow us to create a supportive environment where residents can feel at home while building connections with one another.

The location in River Falls is ideal. It’s a friendly neighborhood with access to local amenities, parks, and public transportation. This makes it easier for residents to access jobs, schools, and community services, which is essential for their success and well-being.

What Comes Next: Furnishing and Preparing the Home

Securing the home is just the beginning. We still need to furnish the space to make it comfortable and functional for our residents. This includes:

  • Beds, sofas, and dining furniture for each unit

  • Kitchen appliances and utensils

  • Laundry facilities

  • Coffee, filters, etc.

  • Basic supplies like linens, towels, and cleaning products

We want every resident to feel safe and cared for from day one. Furnishing the home thoughtfully will help create a welcoming atmosphere that supports their transition.

The Importance of Case Management, Life Skills, and Peer Support

As we prepare to open our first recovery residence, we recognize that providing a safe space is just one part of the equation. Case management, life skills training, and peer support are crucial components of our program. These elements will empower residents to navigate their recovery journey effectively.

Case management will ensure that each resident has access to individualized support. This includes connecting them with necessary resources and services. Life skills training will help residents develop essential skills for daily living, such as budgeting, cooking, and job readiness. Peer support will foster a sense of community and understanding, allowing residents to share their experiences and learn from one another.

How You Can Help Us Reach Our Goal

Our target to open by January 1st is ambitious, and we need your help to make it happen. There are several ways you can contribute:

  • Donate funds to help us purchase furniture and supplies

  • Volunteer your time to assist with cleaning, decorating, or organizing the home

  • Spread the word by sharing our story with friends and family

Every contribution counts. Your support will directly impact the lives of our future residents and help us meet the growing need in our community.

Staying Connected and Informed

To keep everyone updated on our progress, we encourage you to follow our social media channels. We regularly post updates about the home, upcoming volunteer opportunities, and specific items we need. Staying connected will also allow you to see the impact your support is making in real time.

We are committed to transparency and want our community to feel involved every step of the way.

Looking Ahead: Welcoming Our First Residents

Our vision is to create a safe, supportive home where residents can rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. Opening this multi-family home is a crucial step toward that goal. We anticipate welcoming our first residents by January 1st, providing them with a stable place to live and access to resources that will help them thrive.

This home will be more than just a building—it will be a foundation for new beginnings.

Join Us on This Journey

We are incredibly excited to share this news and invite you to join us on this journey. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. If you feel led to donate your time or resources, please reach out. Your involvement will help turn this dream into reality.

We are in the planning stages of this program and haven't yet opened our first home. We are looking to create our first recovery residence in the St. Croix Valley and need your support. Your contributions will help us provide essential services like case management, life skills training, and peer support, ensuring our residents have the tools they need to succeed.

Let’s work together to build a brighter future for our community!
