Our Commitment to Recovery in Western Wisconsin

At Peer Perspective Inc., our mission has always been clear: to fill the critical gaps in recovery resources across Western Wisconsin and create a safe, structured, and empowering environment where women can rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

We are excited to share that this vision is becoming reality. We have secured a multi-family residence in River Falls that will serve as the home for our Supportive Recovery Housing program. This space will provide stability, community, and the foundation needed for long-term recovery. Our anticipated opening is January 1, and we will continue updating the community as we move forward.

Why This Matters

Western Wisconsin continues to face a shortage of recovery housing options, especially for women and families. Without safe, stable, and supportive environments, the path to recovery becomes far more difficult.

Our program will help close this gap by offering:

• A stable living space where women can focus on recovery
• Peer support from individuals with lived experience
• A structured program that encourages growth, accountability, and long-term success

This isn’t just housing. It’s a lifeline for women who deserve a second chance and a community that believes in them.

Our Vision for the Program

With the home secured, we are now working toward building a recovery-focused environment that empowers women to take control of their futures.

Program Structure

Safe and Supportive Environment
A welcoming, substance-free home designed to promote safety, stability, and healing. Each living space will be furnished and equipped with the essentials needed to create a comfortable environment.

Peer-Led Support
Regular check-ins, groups, and one-on-one support from trained peers who understand the challenges and victories that come with recovery.

Structured Programming
Residents will have access to life skills training, budgeting help, job readiness coaching, parenting support, recovery resources, counseling partnerships, and wellness activities. The program emphasizes personal growth, goal-setting, and long-term independence.

Family-Focused Approach

With the new home secured, we are now able to move forward with our plan to serve women with children. Dedicated family-friendly spaces and supports will allow mothers and their children to heal together.

Program Expectations

To ensure a supportive environment for everyone, residents will be expected to:

• Maintain sobriety
• Participate in peer support and program activities
• Contribute to household responsibilities
• Work toward personal goals related to employment, education, or family stability
• Follow curfew and accountability check-ins

These expectations create the structure needed for healthy routines and lasting recovery.

• Furnishing the home
• Covering utilities and essential household items
• Providing peer support services
• Creating a warm, stable, recovery-centered environment
