Our Mission
Peer Perspective Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization working to establish the first recovery-focused housing program in the St. Croix Valley specifically for women and their children. Our mission is to provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment where families can heal together, access recovery resources, and build healthy, sustainable futures.

Why This Matters

  • Critical Gap: Our region currently lacks dedicated housing for mothers in recovery, often forcing women to choose between treatment and keeping their children.

  • Holistic Support: This will be more than just housing. We envision a home filled with recovery programming, life skills training, parenting support, and peer community.

  • Stronger Communities: Recovery-focused housing helps reduce relapse, promote reunification, and create lasting change—for individuals and the community as a whole.

Introducing Ashley’s House

As we step into this new chapter, we are honored to share that our first recovery residence will be named Ashley’s House. This dedication is in memory of Ashley, a childhood friend whose life was cut short due to her struggles with mental health and substance use. She leaves behind three children, and her story reflects both the heartbreak of this crisis and the urgent need for places that offer compassion, support, and a chance to rebuild.

Naming the home in her honor is our way of keeping her memory alive while creating a space filled with the hope and healing she deserved. Ashley’s House will stand as a reminder of the people we have lost and the lives we are working to protect.
